Quartzite Slabs

Quartzite is a naturally occuring hard metamorphic rock that originated as sandstone. Subjected to extreme heat & pressure the sandstone then turns into quartzite.  Pure quartzite is usually white and grey but can also be in shades of pink or red due to various amounts of iron oxide whereas other colors are due to other mineral impurities. Once polished and sealed, this natural stone can display a decorative sparkling pattern.  Quartzite is ideal for any countertop surface due to its strength, ability to withstand heat, and durability.
